The strongest fin-to-tube bond we offer

Extruded fin tube is manufactured using a cold-working process on a Continuous Fin Extruder fitted with three tooling rolls. An aluminum muff tube is fitted over the base tube to precise tolerances, then fins are cold-extruded directly from the muff wall under high pressures in the range of 1,200 psi.

That cold-extrusion process produces a mechanical bond between fin and tube that is stronger and more durable than any wrap-on or embedded process, allowing extruded fin tube to withstand high-pressure water cleaning without fin damage — reducing maintenance downtime and extending service life across demanding air-cooler and radiator applications.
